Played as part of a charity day otherwise would have been £100 quid a round. Is without doubt the best course I have played but for the green fee you would hope so. True test of links golf, every hole memorable. If unfamilair it sometimes difficult to know where to hit your shot but that is the nature of a course like this and in no way a negative. Greens excellent. Would love to play again.

This is a truly excellent golf course; up there along side Hillside and Royal Birkdale. A great mix of long holes and testing shorter holes. A good course strategy is essential for a decent score.

Great, great fun! Steeped in history and very tricky to the unaquainted. I wish we could have played with old mashie's and niblicks. The price was unnecessarily high but that is common to this area.

Excellent course with plenty of history , I played with a member so am not too sure of the cost , but would recomend it to anybody wanting a tough game of golf with or without weather conditions . I would not say this was an easy course to play because you need both accuracy and in places good length from the tee , and be able to read and judge the pace of the greens .
