Great course and in top condition given its a municipal. A challenge for all levels and will definitely play here alot more.

great municipal course greens were very good but a little slow. Standard of the course excellent. Back nine a real challenge as is quite long. great value for money at only £15 with a coutny card.

Okay, so it might just be because of my best round of the year that I'm saying this, but I don't think so. Just turning up you can tell this is a lovely course, and after you've got a couple of holes under your belt your opinion won't have changed.
This isn't an easy course, the tree lined fairways see to that, but it's not mean and scary either. There are some lovely holes here, with a good mix of short and long par 4's. The par 3's are all a visual delight, and the one par 5 is a good birdie opportunity.
The course is very undulating, so perhaps not the easiest of walking courses, but it's not really what you'd call a slog.
The staff in the pro shop were incredibly welcoming, and the lunch I had was excellent.
Seriously, after one round I'm now a big fan of this course, and I hope to be playing here again soon.

Great value and the best municipal course i have ever played. its a great test with long par 4's. a true parkland course with shape and hills... and at 14:00 a round after 2.30pm its a must.
