Well laid course, some long par 4s on the back nine, good staff, tees a bit untidy, practise nets very untidy. Good value for money course.

The course had been in need of repair for many years on certain holes
There is only 2 green keepers to maintain 27 holes when 5 green keepers are needed
They have had ground under repair for the last 10-15 years on the same holes but nothing has vet been done

Difficult course
Greens very good,tee boxes need tlc very scruffy,some bare patches around course but mainly under the trees. Enjoyed the day(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 100 Handicap: 26.8)

Bit disappointed
First visit for a couple of years,bit disappointed with a few things,mix up with booking and our tee of time but managed to sort it by stroke of luck not a good start as we had to rush to tee off no chance to warm up, most tee areas were over grown not very well attended fairways the same,very noisy as kids playing football on the 9 hole and felt for the money we paid we have played on a lot better for less,also club house is a bit shabby and in need of updating,sorry to say probably won't recommend or come back anytime soon unless it spends a bit more attention to course.Reviewer Rating

Great municipal

Early Morning 9
Played the 9 here Saturday morning for the first time in two years. Despite the heavy rain all week the greens were good and the actual course had drained well. Since mytime have taken over the running of it certain things seem to have gone downhill. Tee boxes are messy and the mats have seen far better days . Also off course the practice nets are a joke . Two of the three are taped off as they are not fit for purpose and the third one is not far off . After talking to staff after it became clear that full time greenkeepers have been cut from 6 to 2 ,which explains why slot of it seemed a bit tatty. Bad condition
Played at this course a few times, always been in good condition. Played yesterday the course was unbelievable, the grass was so long even when you teed off we had to find some short grass. Fairways were so bad, won't be playing here again for a very long time. Shame as we have a small society and always enjoyed our games here. Hope someone at the club sorts this course out.Reviewer Rating

very poor course
this course is not fit for purpose, you would be better playing in a field .need to spend more time to maintain the hole course,(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 95 Handicap: 25.6)

great course as with all courses this year the fairways are suffering - the odd dog was running lose as it is so close the woods & sports centre - greens were in good shape - the club house needs a few quid spent on it as it is in a great position - and poor condition.

Few bare fairways
