Always in good condition with good greens
Playing very nice at the moment, but always good at any time due to the chalk ground so drains well(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 85 Handicap: 17.7)

Good course. Bit exposed/windy but it can't help its location!
Greens are very well maintained. Bunkers have plenty of soft sand. Shop quite small and staff not as welcoming as some places, but nothing to complain about really. A good challenge of golf.
Ruined slightly by fairly high charges (although online deals are often available) and being quite corporate (owned by Crown Golf). If it was a members club, I'd join immediately. Membership rates are also very high (around £1400 for full membership). Can get very busy in summer with long rounds a problem.
When I last visited there was also a very officious marshall on duty who almost accused me of sneaking in without paying (the course is open to the road at both ends). His manner was neither courteous, welcoming or appropriate. Rather spoiled my round.

Course was in good condition, though some greens not in best shape. Rough not too long, generally wide forgiving fairways. Quite long, hilly and exposed in places but overall an enjoyable course to play

A lovely course, nice quick greens. Some long holes for the noy so long hitters. Overall a really enjoyable course.

Course played very long. quite difficult for high handicappers as always needed 3 or more to reach the greens.

First time round here. Excellent course in good condition. Interesting place to knock it round. Greens were good. Well looked after by the club on a large society day. Will play again in future.

Really well maintained course with excellent fairways and greens despite recent poor weather. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we were able to book teetime of our choice. A medium difficulty course with plenty of space and variation
