Excellent golf course. Very well looked after. Tee boxes, greens and fringes all very, very good. If you miss a green here you can get up and down as you will nearly always have a good lie and the greens are true so you can putt. Very nice bar and outside patio areas with view overlooking the course. Recommended.

played the course on 29th.october2010.last played approx 2years ago. very impressed with the alterations, course is in excellent condition. a pleasure to play, played with some of the members, great company.

A classy course and clubhouse to match. The course is a good challenge and always in good condition.

This course is forgiving with not a lot heavy rough and no water it well maintained and the greens and tees are well watered so are In excellent condition

Our annual society visit with coffe and bacon rolls to get the day underway.
Course in pretty good condition but for second year running the greens were slow and could have done with a cut, so don't be fooled by the pace of the putting green.

Classic parkland and well-maintained course
A very well-maintained course. Nice and old-style in a pleasant picturesque part of the country. Holes are decent, just a little too flat(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 86 Handicap: 13.9)

In very good nick after strange summer weather
Very warm welcome in pro shop. Course in good condition save for a couple of the bunkers which were compacted after rain where sand thin.Reviewer Rating

The course was in excellent condition with fast sloping greens but the were true, personally I enjoyed the par 3's only 2 par 5's but some strong par 4's

Stunning Sonning, beautiful course and fantastic condition. Really enjoyable round, great pace for a four ball, 3:45 mins. Perfect, apart from the sock policy... wear white socks with shorts... still don't get that rule I'm afraid.(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 96 Handicap: 16.7)

Lovely course & very friendly
Second visit to Sonning, course was in great condition and the hospitality before, during and after was worth a mention - especially as my 4-ball voucher expired in October but the club Secretary was very accommodating in assisting in re-arranging.
