Course was in reasonable condition for October. First 7 holes tree lined and tight with back nine longer and more open. Last two green across water which makes for a good finish

The greens are in a bad condition, very bumpy.. the rough is also very think even next to the fairway on most holes. Have to hit the fairway everything.. Facilities are very good. Driving range, shop and restaurant very good. Food quite expensive

Good course but poor greens on the day I played.17th and 18th very interesting requiring carry over water - possible with a decent hit.

This is a great layout and you need to have a consistent day to play to your handicap - I'm yet to do that on this course! Many holes become very challenging if you're out of position off the tee. The clubhouse is very good and I rate the golf shop

I'd heard a lot of good things about silvermere and was excited to finally play it. Great deal at £20 on a Sunday can't really be beaten. Superb layout, although tight first 6 holes that can put an end to a good score early on if you don't keep it in play. 17 and 18 fabulous finishing combo. BUT, unfortunately the greens were just awful. Some of the worst I've experienced. Bouncing all over the place, total luck as to whether a putt stays on line, and patches everywhere. Sort this out guys, as a course this good deserves better. Will definitely try again in the summer with the hope this is winter related.

Had not played there for a few years but the course and facilities are still good and the course is tree lined and tough in some parts. Will definetly start goning there more regular
