A good course
Although we played here in March just after the snow had disappeared, the course was in very good condition with fairways and greens running well. There is a good variation of holes with water to be played over on several of them. Well worth a visit.(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 104 Handicap: 19.9)

Pleasant twilight
Had a nice deal £15 each on a 4-ball. well worth the money. It is a very nice course. Greens in top condition. Nice tree lined course. Very enjoyable. Nothing spectacular. Just a very very nice knock on a typical English Parkland course! Well worth a visit. Only dodgy hole is the par 4th 11th (SI 1) where the busy road really does dome into play for the slicers!(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 94 Handicap: 13.9)

Played on a December morning after a frost so the early greens were very hard and bobbly. This did not detract from a happy experience of playing on an excellent course. The staff were friendly and afterwards in the comfortable bar, the welcome was warm.

Really good layout, some tees had been moved around to accommodate course maintenance so playing slightly shorter than standard. Greens had been hollow tined and sanded recently so weren't as true as they could be.

Plays well even in Winter. No temorary greens but mostly forward tees. Worth a visit

Very nice course. i did not expect much of a challenge for Shirley/Solihull - hardly any major hills! but i was pleasantly surprised. there are some lovely holes, all the greens arein 'pristine' condition. i look forward to playing again. nothing jaw dropping awesome. just a damn good test of golf.
