Course is a great one, some interesting holes and approach shots and some great driving holes. The downside is the condition of the greens and bunkers. The greens were absolutely terrible today. They are better in the summer and they do get a lot of use but they are bobbley and slow. Having said that the value for money is great, Caroline in the club shop is lovely and the layout is fantastic.

Simply one of the best courses I've played within the M25. I've been playing golf around London since 1996 and this course is well laid out, very challenging, quite long and so very well kept. At every hole you are faced with a challenge, it's a course you really have to think about as land in the wrong place and you'll have a harder shot to follow. I played it on the 2for1 voucher scheme, wasn't very busy, and both my brother and I (mid 20's handicaps) found it to be one of the best all round courses we've played in years. Will definitely return, and even at £40 it's good value.

Lovely round of gold. Was a hot day and there were a lack of buggies but with a trolley it was ok.

Has played well this season some work earlier in the year to spruce it up the did the trick - my local course so always up for a twilight round here, best value for money course in the area - but don't tell anyone!!! It's our little hideaway

I must have played this course 20+ times now and its probably playing as well as I've seen it. The fairways are lush and spongy and virtually divot-free, the greens are also true and in great shape. Considering the course is public - you do get the occasonal dog walker or family walking through the fairways - but dont let this detract from a really good course in great shape. Also, the flow of traffic around the course - we teed off as a 2-ball and didnt see anyone in front of us, or get caught for the 3 and-a-half hours we were out there for. Would recommend, and definately play again.

Terrible weather, winter rules and sodden greens but woman in pro shop took pity on us, offering coffee to warm us up.
Worth going just for the welcome in the pro shop

the course is great ,the greens make you think ,get a map of the course otherwise you could quite easly play a wrong hole ,drink and food ,found to be dear for what it was .well worth playing
