I am a little biased because I got my first ever EAGLE here on the 330 yard, 3rd hole!
This course is a delight that's set in picturesque gently rolling hills. At par 66 it seems short but that is mainly because there are 7 par 3 holes. That said, some of the par 4 holes are pretty L O N G and the last par 5 is up hill most of the way.
The staff are very friendly and Matt, one of the golf professionals, was very, very helpful! In fact, this place was so good that I am now considering membership there for me and my partner.

A short course but not that easy as plenty of the holes are pretty tight and a couple of the par 4s are surprisingly long. Having 7 par threes is a few too many but they are all different and there is plenty of variation in short game needed. Played on an excellant winter special offer we found the course in very good condition, although we both struggled to read the greens on occasion. The layout uses the available space very well and it made for an enjoyable round. Adequate practice facility and a rather good bacon roll added to the golf well. Certainly recommended especially in winter conditions when other courses may struggle.

Seckford Golf Club is a good test for all golfers...although short at par 68, it is very tight therefore you have to be very accurate or you will be punished, several of the par 3's are around the 100yds mark and this offers a very different type of test to that which most of us are used to thus making these deceptively tough. Every hole is different, combining doglegs, elevated tees, shots to a elevated greens and other various combinations...the course is generally in good condition with many a hazard punishing wayward shots or poor course management...all in all a enjoyable and challenging round of golf

A short course that has a few interesting holes. With only one par 5 it won't test the big hitters but there are some decent par fours that can be quite tricky. The par 3's are pretty short, almost 'squeezed in' to make the 18 holes. The small greens had just been spiked so were not in the best of shape and the fairways were longer than my back garden.
A good course for a beginner but accomplished players won't be challenged.

The course holds some pretty good challenges but also has a couple of tees that allow you to really open the shoulders!!
