Undulating and challenging course
A great course that was tricky to play for the first time. It is very hilly and many shots are played blind. Course knowledge will help bring down the score next time. The greens were in great condition and were particularly quick. Some of the holes have great views but be prepared for tired legs afterwards. Buggy recommended!(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 100 Handicap: 28.7)

Charity day
Need to return as we only managed 11holes because torrential rain cancelled the event. But the 11 played were very interesting and the greens were impeccable. Everybody at the club were so friendly and welcoming. A field of over 200 ensured that the charity benefited.Reviewer Rating

great course in great condition
Played today on a great deal of £20 for a round and a meal. Course was in great condition and a brilliant challenge.(Round played: Oct 2017 - Score: 83 Handicap: 11.5)

Excellent condition as always, and a challenging walk - up and down dale! All holes different, with the 1st a real opening test.

Challenging course with very fast suttle undulating greens, every shot requires thought, no good hitting your driver and see what you need to do on your 2nd shot.
fantantis view across to Nottingham, so many hills to climb.

Lovely course, set into and on a hill, so it is a bit of a trek in places. Greens a quick but very true, a real joy to putt on. Fairways and tee boxes well maintained and has to have the best green to tee paths anywhere.
All in all a real joy to play. Would've marked course as excellent but felt it was let down by last 2 holes.
Members and staff very friendly.
