Super course which will challenge your short game
Reaad my full review online via: https://glfs.hk/3MZErNDThe Course offers a varied and unique golf experience, providing stunning views from different elevated tees around the course, with par 3s, par 4s and par 5s and resources such as artificial all-weather turf cart paths for all year round playability. The fairways occasionally dogleg right and left, lined with trees and bunkers and with hilly contours and tall mounds that may collect any wayward tee shots. The greens are stunningly maintained with a consistently firm surface, perfect for putting.
Rushcliffe is a must. While other famous courses may cost up to £100 for a round, Rushcliffe offers not only fantastic value for money but a challenging, fun, and picturesque game. Make sure to clean the grooves of your wedges before you come, though - you'll be tested with a short game!

Lived up to its reputation
Having only ever played here, once before, I only managed to play 10 holes as we got clerks and off the course due to severe weather. So I was mightily looking forward to it, but the weather wasn't playing in our favour. Saturdays overnight downpour led us to believe that we were in for more weather pain on Sunday when we were due to tee off. We were blessed by the weather gods who even bought us some sunshine (first time this year I've played in trousers) the autumnal, sunshine and colours of the trees made it an exquisite Course on the eye, it's also transpired to be the conditions of the course having had a lot of rain overnight. I could easily say the greens were the best greens I've played on all year considering how wet they felt underfoot. An absolute belter of a course, and I'm pleased to say that it is easily a true hidden gem of the East Midlands.
