Fabulous

A true test
Lovely greens and course in general. Rough have just had a trim which helps!

Fabulous
Lived up to expectations, people very friendly and helpful with clear signage to assist with the Covid-19 restrictions(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 100 Handicap: 13.3)

Accessible Open coarse
Played 16 January 2020 - first round of the new year! Coarse was in good order considering the time of the year. The greens were well prepared and ran true to the line - if the could find it - there were subtle variations as you would expect on Championship greens. All in all, a wonderful day?s experience - my score of 7 over par on handicap was irrelevant

Fantastic experience
Had the pleasure of playing on a dry but blustery December morning. Warm welcome in the pro shop and friendly service in the clubhouse for breakfast. Yes it?s expensive but worth it. Course was in great condition, some bunkers GUR (bonus!) : great challenge - thought 7, 8 & 9 were the stand out holes. Make sure you wander round the clubhouse too.

Fantastic course with Greta history
For me Royal Lytham & St Anne?s was a bucket list course to play and it did not disappoint.. An excellent experience from arrival to leaving.

Great course, warm welcome
August - windy day. Wind with most of the front 9. Into the breeze most of the inward 9. Course was immaculate. Greens a little slower than expected. Well worth a visit.(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 92 Handicap: 18.1)

Charity Day
Played a very dry course with not a lot of wind for a coastal course...won the individual competition and our team came second by 1 point(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 81 Handicap: 11)

Amazing history and course
Driving into the car park you get a feeling of stepping back in time , and its a good feeling, The place is full of history. Like Hoylake (Royal Liverpool) the course looks smaller then it does on TV but doesn`t really play like it. Stay out of the 200+ bunkers , they are killers. The first lot of rough can be played out of but like most links golf you go into the long grass you either lose the ball or have to knock it out with a 9 iron.. Greens were true and flat. Fairways very dry and little wind when we played. Loved the experience. All the staff were fantastic and thank them for a wonderful day

Awesome course
Best course I have played tough test of golf but awesome to walk the fairways that legends have .(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 89 Handicap: 16.9)

Great Course with hospitality to match.
Had a weekend stay in Dormy house with golf. This was excellent value for overnight stay, meal and golf. The hospitality was great, nothing was a problem for the staff.

Tough course and fantastically well kept.
I highly recommend this course for all levels of golfers

(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 84 Handicap: )

(Round played: Mar 2017 - Score: 104 Handicap: 20.3)

(Round played: May 2016 - Score: 118 Handicap: 18.3)

A top class course and a very tough test. Hard to,find any faults at all although the bunkers are extremely severe and probably unfair on many locations. Overnight in the Dormy House is a special treat.
(Round played: May 2016 - Score: 85 Handicap: )
