What the club says: The course is an unusual blend of links and parkland which is relatively flat. This makes it not too strenuous to walk around and allows complete vision of each hole from tee to green. What you will see are fairways that are generously wide but with plenty of difficulty for wayward shots in the hills and hollows which border the fairways on most holes. Fairhaven is famous for its deep rivetted bunkers and there are plenty of them to give the golfer food for thought from both the tee and the fairway.

The course is designed in 2 loops of nine holes, both of which finish at the clubhouse making it convenient to play 27 holes on a days visit.

Stunning. Best This Year. Get There ASAP

Wow. Simply stunning golf course and clubhouse. Facilities are second to none for a non-Open hosting venue. Clubhouse and locker rooms are immaculate, staff are great and the course is wonderful. Greens are outstanding and the bunkers are numerous but playable from if you are not tucked up the bank. Rough is testing and this is a great mix of a links feel with some parkland features.

Fantastic course. Great condition

In my opinion Fairhaven is the most enjoyable course on the fylde coast. Greens were in immaculate condition & there was no standing water on the course which considering recent weather is a great achievement. There was some work going on in the bunkers & the wetter 13&14 were closer but overall for a November round it was brilliant. The newly renovated clubhouse is lovely too.

Superb course

This is a cracking golf course. There are a few bunkers GUR, but otherwise it's excellent.
The greens are just different class, even after 2 days rain they were superb.
It was a tough day with 50mph winds, but you couldn't do anything but enjoy this course.
It's parkland, but with a bit of a links feel as well, a really nice mix. (Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 92 Handicap: 12.1)

Top class course

Second time playing Fairhaven, still one of my favorite courses. Large clubhouse, well stocked pro shop. Great practice facilities. Course itself in fantastic condition, well manicured. Greens best I have ever played on, quick, true roll. Long course but all on the flat. Need to be playing well to score, lots of fairway bunkers for slight wayward tee shots, punishing rough. Good food served in clubhouse. Overall top class golfing venue, a must try.

Course would be nice in spring, temporary tee boxes for 18. Members a bit rude to visitors on arrival. Didn't feel very welcome throughout. shame as it is a nice clubhouse and nice course.

Ended a three day golf tour at this course and it was by far the best of the three we played. Course was in lovely condition and was a real pleasure to play. Hard but fair but I recommend staying out of the many bunkers - they ruined my card, but not my day.
