Played this course on 21/03/2014 as a two ball.. The course was a in excellent condition. We are both of 27 handicaps and found it a good test of golf, but by no means daunting. Paid £30each for the winter package 2. Bacon Roll and coffee, 18 holes followed 2 course meal (bangers, mash, peas, carrots followed by treacle sponge and custard), only this choice of food though. Everyone was welcoming which is not always the case at old established clubs

breakfast very good all the staff very helpful the course is great greens very fast for the time of year the only trouble is the white lines to stop you going near the greens with your trolley where to far away from the greens but apart from that we had a very good day

Well I played in July and the greens wasn't in the best condition, I am glad to say I played again last week and the difference was incredible. Course looking very good and the greens rolling really well. Nice course.

Played Rotherham this week. Well after reading other reviews I can only say I am glad I went.
The driveway up to the clubhouse is nice and impressive and gives you a flavour of what is to come.
The condition of the course was in fantastic condition, Fairways all in good nick with the approaches looking really good. The Greens are struggling and there had been some work done a couple of days before we played it. (That shouldn't be happening mid season) Overall a lovely course and one I recommend.

Excellent venue. Excellent service. Forgot my powakaddy battery and borrowed one from the pro shop for free

Course was in excellent condition for the time of year. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The course is good test and the setting is beautiful.

with all the rain we have been having the course was in great nick the staff where very polite and notthing was to much trouble the greens where true what a great course i will be going back there again

Great course, playing on full greens despite the weather. will be awesome to play in the Spring. £26 including a full breakfast - great value
