What the club says: The course hosts one of the hardest golf holes in South Yorkshire, "The 11th" at 439 yards with five ditches and a pond along with an elevated green in front of a wall and a tight tree lined fairway - An accurate drive is a must on this hole. The New head Green Keeper is making great strides in ensuring the course will be both challenging, fair and a pleasure to play.

Golf Course Reviews for Crookhill Park Municipal Golf Club
greens=not very good (big cracks on the edges of a lot of the greens),T boxes (some t boxes were just dust)Fairways were quality ,it's a shame because crookhill has massive potential.
This course is always challenging and the 11th is the one everyone dreads (well I do). Some good holes and some boring ones, but overall enough to make it worthwhile visiting every now and again for a different challenge. With some investment it could be a fantastic course, but thats unlikely to happen so it will remain good and competitively priced.
Perhaps surprisingly good for a Municipal course. Great value and very enjoyable challenge.
Very heavy muddy round. Drainage could be better, but generally the course is in reasonable condition for the time of year. Credit to them for keeping the greens open. Some courses would have been on temporary greens given the weather.

(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 98 Handicap: 21.5)
(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 97 Handicap: 23.4)
Should be a great course with many interesting holes, but little investment in maintenance shows and the experience falls short of its obvious potential.
