Very much improved
Course was in excellent condition , best I’ve seen it . Was a very enjoyable round . Would definitely recommend this course(Round played: May 2020 - Score: 89 Handicap: 14.5)

You wont forget this course
As the name suggests, the course is on a hill, it is approximately 100 foot, top to bottom making it a very interesting course you wont forget.Very friendly

10 pounds for 9 holes on a Friday is an absolute steal, 6,7,8 are great holes some proper tests(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 43 Handicap: )

worth a visir
Very friendly course. Lots of work on fairways and greens in the past 2 years, much improved. Tricky gre e ns make it a fun outing!(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 94 Handicap: 20.8)

Great place for society golf.
6 Pods twin beds and great shower facilities, very clean and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities. Unlimited golf with full English breakfast. What else do you need.
Easier front 9 with some short and long par 4s, more challenging back 9 with great views over the hills. 13th hole my favourite views are fantastic and the hole is a risk reward par 5. 10 is a 235 yard par 3
Avoid Seniors days is its very slow and congested unless you play the back nine first.
Course staff are fantastic, very helpful and accommodating. Green staff are doing a brilliant job, shame the members are not helping by repairing pitch marks.
Room Tip: Some twins and some doubles, discuss in advance your requirements they are willing to help

Greens playing well. Fairways cut to a sensible height. Bunkers still need work in places but overall the course is the best it's been for years

The course is welcoming and can be a challenge if your not straight off of the tee. its very hilly the name gives that away. the greens are small but flat and true

Stayed here for the weekend in the eco pods. Didn't actually play golf but the views of the golf course are lovely and the golfers seemed to enjoy themselves. The food in the club house was very nice, staff were very friendly and the eco pod was much better than expected. You get a key to the toilets/showers for those staying in the pods only which was better and they are much cleaner than the public ones. Pods were nice and cosy and not too crampt for 2 people. Would recommend and stay again!

Went for 3 days last Sun/Mon/Tues. Stayed in the ECO pods on course. The staff were very helpful in sorting out our tee times and on the Monday sent us off the 10th to avoid a large group of Seniors. Greens had been hollatined and dressed but improved every round. Lots of work being done to prepare for winter tees which was good to see. As others have mentioned, the course suits all standards of golfer (the less straight you are of the tee the harder it gets). All of the staff and the other golfers were really friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the bar and food as much as the course. We will be returning.

Great course for beginners with some challenging holes for mid handicappers. Every green seems to play differently which makes the round enjoyingly frustrating. Very friendly staff. Inexpensive reflected by overall course condition. Very busy around the 9:30 - 10:30 tee times.
