Good value
Nice course generally good condition, odd green a little bumpy but nothing which will spoil a game.Nice variety of holes, fairly wide, but you get a couple of tighter tee shots on the back 9.
This was played during the COVID-19 lockdown when golf is allowed, people were staying to the 2m social distancing rule. I couldn't judge some facilities because of COVID-19 situation.

Lovely condition
Really impressed with the course today, only played once before and the weather conditions were terrible and never got to see the lovely views across Gloucester. The course is fairly open consisting on several short par 4s (particularity the first part). This course has 4 nice Par 5 holes where birdies are also possible. However it also has the longest par 3 I've ever played at 241 yards off the yellow tees. As the name suggests it is on a hill and the course is laid out so you ascend and descend the hill multiple times, so take plenty of water. Greens are in lovely condition, they're very undulating with many of them designed like an upside-down bowl, so a poor chip or putt will be off the back.
The course could do with some more bins.

Rodway Hill Golf Club
Played in March, in a very poor condition, not mowed fairways were very long almost impossible to play from. A real shame Society played there last year and was a stand out course. Like many others seems the winter weather has put course preparation back and it showed.Reviewer Rating
