Excellently maintained course even on a wet horrible day the greens were still gleaming.

Played this course yesterday in an open competition. Impressed with the friendliness of all the staff and members. Nice clubhouse, fantastic breakfast, well stocked pro shop. The course itself in excellent condition from tee to green. Always tricky to start any round with a par 3 hole, but managed to get a birdie, bonus. First nine has some tight fairways and is quite undulating, 2nd nine a little more open and easier on the walk but I found tougher to score on. The semi rough is quite punishing, ball can sit down in it, so keeping to the fairways is a must for a good round. Greens in great condition and some pin placements quite testing. Excellent clubhouse bar overlooking the par 3 14th is great place to have a well deserved drink and a bit to eat from reasonably priced menu. Would certainly be visiting Ripon City Golf Club again.

Lovely course. Received a warm, friendly welcome at the pro shop on arrival. The course is quite challenging, particularly the front 9 holes, which are very up and down the terrain. The back 9 holes are slightly flatter, but still very enjoyable. Bar and clubhouse good also. Worth a visit.

Great course, some greens under repair on the front 9 but overall in good condition. A comp did start on 16 when I came up to it. Which slowed my play.

Great condition

Great shortish course
Game of 2 halves. Started with Par 3, then went across road and played fairly old 8 holes. Plenty of character and ravines. Back to the other side from 11th. A newer half with not so much elevation and character but more distance. A bit too samey but overall a good test.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 93 Handicap: 16.5)

Very nice course with contrasting 9's. Course in excellent nick, a good challenge and well worth a visit. Staff also deserve a lot of praise, couldn't have been more helpful!
