nice course

Ripon City Golf Club,The jewel of North Yorkshire
Ripon City Golf Club is one of the best tracks I have played.Grounds are immaculate with great fairways and greens with stunning views.
The ground staff have recently been working hard to recover from such a wet winter season and the work and effort have produced a fantastic course.
A great Pro, Craig Helliwell, who adjusts his training to the capabilities of his customers for great results. Even me. His staff are training to become pro's and are a great addition to his team, they are very approachable and happy to impart their knowledge thanks Liam and Aiden.
The club facilities have been enhanced with a new balcony where you can sit and enjoy the super food coming from the kitchen and well priced. DOB Catering have done a smashing job thanks to David (Chef), Emma (Manager) and Amy (Bar manager)
Not forgetting the clubs management team who have helped improve and adjust the clubs outlook and future, Neil and Paul.

Always make the effort to play here at least once per year... greens, fairways and tee boxes in immaculate condition every time I've visited with a very friendly welcome. Not the longest course but very tricky due to the undulations and tight fairways; the kind of layout you need to play a few times to get the hang of it with several blind tee shots.

Course was in excellent condition. There is a good mix of holes, and I found 10 and 18 to be the most testing!

Very welcoming staff and players. Course in good condition- very challenging in places- the 14th was particularly daunting with a short across a bit expanse of water.

Played Ripon on our society visit. Our group of 18 were well looked after by all at club, friendly welcome by staff and members. Course in good condition. Greens true but difficult to read, pin positions quite tricky. Fairways were bare in places hence preferred lies. Some very good holes, par 3 14th over water and par 3 7th from elevated tee bed stand out. Good day all round.
