This is a Municipal course surrounded by houses but is kept in very good condition despite the walkers and occasional yob on his bike.
The groundsman should be complimented.
It is excellent value for money and not as easy as it first appears

The course is in good condition at the moment. It is just a shame that the local idiots have to damage/remove flags at night.

A good course for all round play. A couple of tricky holes and the opportunity to use everything in your bag. £9 for 18 holes

A municipal course that is good to play and excellent value for money. Well maintained with good greens and fairways. The course is better to play now that the deep rough has been mown between the fairways. Only drawback to this course is the public right of way! There can be a lot of interference from the public playing on this course, when you are trying to play your round.

course was decent enough. there were very high winds the day I went which not only caused problems with the flow of the ball, but put many obstacles in the way due to branches blowing off trees. also, vandals had visited the course the previous night and removed all the markers/pins etc, which made it very difficult especially for anybody (like myself) who had never played the course before.
lots of children running around doesn't help your game, but it IS a municipal course

I played the course in the past year and again for a municipal course it a credit to the staff. The pro shop is friendly and helpful and well stock. The course is still hard work for a high handicap, not so for low etc. The greens were excellent, some of the higher priced course could do so well and there are a few bunkers and out of bounds to contend with and of course the price is great, cheaper than the driving range, if you get the chance give Queens Park Golf Club a try, you won't be disappointed.
