Clwb Golff Pwllheli Gwyneed Wales..Joined as a seasonal member in this year 2014. Allows me to play through until September during the summer months whilst living away from home in Cheshire (Sutton Hall Member) Only played the course twice..it's what you call a thinking course. Keep the driver in the bag for at least twelve holes..Stunning views across the bay

Very good coarse, friendly pro shop. I'm afraid thats where it ends on a recent society weekend our ladies fourball (playing behind us) were subjected to digraceful behaviour from certain members. They were being held up by other golfers when a members FIVEBALL came behind them. They were subjected to whistles, jeers & having golf balls fired at them, some of which landed a metre away. NO SHOUT OF FORE. They felt so intimidated, they left the coarse on the 15th hole. May I take this opportunity to remind these idiots if it were not for PAYING visiting golfers you probably could not afford to be members

Lovely course in tremendous condition. The best part about it, is you get two courses in one. It starts as parkland and then turns to links. My only complaint is about the members i caught up too with 5 holes to play. I had played 13 holes in 90 mins and then the last 5 holes in 90 mins, due to the slow play of four members, who were even drinking alcohol while playing. I had words at the end and they tried to justify their slow play, but there is no excuse for 5 holes in 90 mins and drinking alcohol while playing. A member played 2 holes with me and even he gave up and walked in. Apart from these fools, the course is well worth a visit. Rob. 5 Handicap.

What a great course. The front 7 are really picturesque and really good fun. From hole 8 onwards it got difficult. with winds upward of 15mph i lost a few golf balls. My favourite hole is hole 14. It is really beautiful. A real treat to be able to play at such a lovely course.

played last week and course was in excellent condition. It really is a smashing little course and i enjoy visiting time and time again. One thing i have to mention were the greens. Absolutley tremendous. I recall on the 7th hole i hit a 5 iron approch shot after a tidy drive. The ball landed on the green and came to rest about ten feet after the pitch mark, really receptive greens. Awarding good aggressive play. The pace of the greens were fairly slick but not ridiculously fast, roughly 9 on the stimp i'd guess.
Warm welcome, nice club and a quality course, well done.
PS. Any chance of figuring out if you could fit a par 5 in? Its about the only thing lacking!

Always enjoy this course
Today engalnd played in the quarter final and the course was packed, pace of play was good and the course although dry due to the summer, played with two distinct feelings - the test coming in the middle with the 'links' style course demanding a change in course management in order to score.

Half and half
Starts off as parkland then becomes links and then goes back sort of gradually to finish as parkland. Good condition but not enough sea views!
