Dull and poorly maintained. One of the worst courses I've seen

A poor golfing experience with the only positive aspect being the amazing views.

The course has 9 straight, flat holes with no bunkers, the only notable obstacles being two bushes and little distinction between semi-rough and fairway. The astro tees made it incredibly difficult to put a tee in and almost every flag was in tatters.

Other people mention the cost. Whilst £8 each for two kids seems reasonable, I regularly play an excellent 9 hole par 3 courses near Edinburgh called Swanston that is in excellent condition, has plenty of features including rough, water hazards and bunkers and only costs £5 for each of my sons who play. More recently, on our way back from our holiday in Wales, we played a excellent 9 hole course near Kendal that was hilly, challenging and had lots of features and cost just £10.

We intended on playing footgolf too but decided against it because it looked just like a field with 9 flags. Similar to the golf, we play an 18 footgolf course outside Glasgow which is a similar price and has proper tees, fairways, bunkers, water features, rough and hole variations such as dog legs which enhance enjoyment and make it interesting. Another footgolf course in Morpeth is priced similarly to Llyn but has a more interesting layout and better maintained.

I think Llyn golf has the land and potential to develop two great courses with more regular green keeping maintenance, some creativity changes to the course layout and the associated investment.

Regarding customer service, the couple, who presumably were the owners, seemed polite enough however l felt that me and my family could've been given a warmer welcome.

The course is a fairly short, level 9 hole layout and ideal for beginners or any golfers having limited time to play.

Generally a nicely looked after course however the bunkers needed attention as significant rabbit burrowing evident. Very quiet in late September.

Lovely well kept golf course. Spectacular views of the coast. Staff very friendly and helpful. No facilities for food - just as well I had packed sandwiches. Staff happy for us to sit inside whilst we had lunch before playing second nine.
Must have been hottest day of the year when we played, ended up giving sun cream to other players who were getting sunburnt.

Very good value course but a pity they insist on using tee mats which I detest. The weather was grey with a gusting south westerly wind. Very helpful and friendly guy at reception. Certainly not the best course I've played on but good fun with the family
