What The Club Says
Situated on the south coast of the truly fantastic Lleyn Peninsula the course has unrivalled views of Snowdonia over Cardigan Bay this is a sublime setting where the golf is equally awe-inspiring. With a long history spanning back over 109 years Pwllheli is regarded as one of the Top Courses in North Wales.
Designed as an initial 9 hole course by Tom Morris in 1900, the course was extended to an 18 hole course in 1909 in line with the designs of 5 times British Open Champion James Braid.

Links Gem
I love links golf, it brings out the best of my game. Played afternoon on my own, with wife as ball spotter.Club staff very friendly. Course in amazing condition, following 2 days of club comps. Surprised how quiet my round was for a Bank Holiday afternoon. Front 7 parkland and rest links. Loved it!Reviewer Rating

Hugely underrated..,
Greens were in great nick – fast, true, and beautifully kept. A genuinely warm welcome. Some fab holes. A bit cheeky in the wind. And what can I say. A pint on the balcony afterwards, looking out over Cardigan Bay to the mountains of Snowdonia in the sunshine. There can’t be many better clubhouse views in the British Isles.Course, people, and that view – hard to beat. Highly recommended.

Looks are deceiving but worth visiting.
To the unwary this looks like a straightforward parkland course but beware. Tricky pin positions on greens well defended by strategic bunkers and ditches (staked) that you are unaware of teeing off. The links section of the course is as you would expect - undulating fairways and wild bounces - keep your eye on the ball !! Very helpful lady in the pro shop as well. Highly recommended if you are in the area. There was no bar/restaurant facilities on my visit which was disappointing.Reviewer Rating

Challenging course Parkland and Links
Parkland is in great condition and easy to play but some challenging greens. Head to the links on the 8th and you are playing a very different course. Plenty of obstacles and bunkers. Views over Cardigan Bay. A very enjoyable course to play.Reviewer Rating

Lovely day 2
Second day of trip and played really well holes 1-7 were woodland type holes followed by some links type holes and a couple of woodland to finish off. The good thing was you could see what shot was needed for the holes , if I could play it was a different matter, but greens were receptive and trueReviewer Rating
