Really testing courses. If you're a hooker or a slicer, bring lots of balls because if you go off the fairway you'll struggle to find you ball. Excellent facilities with bar and food. The winds can be really troublesome. Typical links course

Prince's is a fantastic golfing facility, with the Shore/Dunes combination being the standout 18, but the Himalayas much improved from two years ago, which was my only previous visit on a day ticket. Course was in exceptional condition, and a perfect setting for our group's Ryder Cup style matches played over 3 days in early April. 20 players with handicaps ranging from 7 to 28, everyone found it to be a fair test, not too long, nor was the rough too brutal. Greens were outstanding.

Only let down was the facilities, and even this I would hope was just a temporary issue - we had real problems with being able to get hot showers in the Lodge! Food was probably average, but nonetheless, I'd still highly recommend staying on site. Great spot to have a couple of beers post-round and discuss the day's play.

Played Shore 9 followed by Dunes 9, which I found very tough. Course condition excellent but green to tee walkways quite worn out (being remedied). £60 for twilight rate a bit steep when clubhouse closes at 7 pm. Unfortunately batteries on both the rented Motacaddies ran out of power and although the proshop brought out a battery the second couldn't be replaced because everyone seemed to ahve gone home and had to be pushed for the last 4 holes.

Very nice but probably not worth the money

Paid £124 to play Shore / Dunes on a lovely day in May. I really liked the course but overall would struggle to say it represented good value of money. Condition of the course was good rather than excellent, clubhouse was OK but not in keeping with the green fees. Pro shop and clubhouse staff excellent.

Top drawer venue

Excellent facilities with all three courses in top order, staff helpful and friendly. The Lodges are comfortable and well appointed for all your needs. Comfy, spacious bar and restaurant at the Lodges and if you're lucky with the weather, good space outside to relax after your round.
The courses are all challenging in their own way but the Himalayas in a stiff breeze, is particularly challenging for length and accuracy. All of the greens were in excellent order and it will take a bit of adjustment if you are used to slowish greens.

Superb

Proper grown up golf. It's reputation is well founded. The Shore course is a great introduction to the whole experience. Dunes is tougher.
Staff are all very welcoming, especially at The Lodge, where the food is excellent.

Brilliant day

Played Himalayas and Shore. Course was in excellent condition for the time of year. Staff were very friendly and helpful in the restaurant/Bar and pro shop as were the green keepers. Absolutely loved it there. My new favorite course We will return.

Beautiful course on the Kent coast, bit pricey but deals to be had if you add in accommodation and play more than once.

Quite possibly the best course I've ever played.
People at the club were helpful and not in any way pretentious. The 3 separate 9 hole courses offered lots of variety and different tests. The accommodation and food and drink supplied was of a good standard.
