Visited for the first time 29/4. True links course, right next to the beach, friendly reception and good facilities. Fortunate to have great weather and a moderate breeze but the course was still a challenge. Usual tough bunkers and undulating fairways however the par 3s gave you the chance to get some shots back.

This is a fantastic links course and the rough is actually quite forgiving . I kept the same ball all the way round amazingly enough . The wind is a natural part of the course and it makes you think about each shot . Really enjoyed my two days play here and the accommodation is excellent. The only downer would be that it is very poorly signed between the holes . we actually played the wrong par three once . (17 handicap)

good course, in particular the Himalayas loop. The greens were very sandy and slow when we played mid March.

Played Shores and Dunes one day followed by Himalayas the next, heavy rain stopped us playing further, but considering the weather the course was in good condition. We got a winter deal one night stay in the Lodge, evening meal, breakfast and two rounds for £99, this was great value for money and we were made to feel very welcome. Would certainly go again and would recommend, just the weather to take into account.

Wonderful conditions with the course layout and surface conditions very good. Rough too long at fairway edges and excessive in course boundary, offering no recovery to fairways even with ball found. Bunkers were fearsome but lacked bunker sand making bunker recovery near impossible to play correctly.... but all this aside one of the best courses around with exceptional quality greens.

I like links courses and am on a mission to play all "true links" in the UK, so I've played a few. This one is ok, but it's in no way special, none of the holes are particularly memorable, it's a middle of the league table links course in my view. That still means golf all year round with no mud, balls that run and the pain and glory of bumpy fairways and deep pot bunkers. definitely worth a trip out this way

I needed to play this course to gauge my ability. This is too good for me. In a couple of years I shall return. The fairways tight, greens difficult to read - a real test!

Played princes over a beautiful couple of days, wind blowing from the east at about 15mph.....was prob the best we could of hoped for. On arrival the pro was very friendly and helpful. Practice facilities were good (great putting/chipping/bunker area) albeit the range was a bit poor only 7 bays which needed a bit of TLC. We stayed in the lodge which was great, overlooking royal st George's and the 5th of princes shore. Again staff very friendly. The courses.....tough but fair. Take plenty of balls, forget about the bad shots enjoy the course and you'll love it.
