A most under rated links
Have always said that just because Princes doesn't have the "brand name" of some of the Royal links it should feel inferior. The new redesigned Himalayas course is exceptional. Add any other of the 2 nines and you have a wonderful round of golf. At almost 50% cheaper than the other 2 Royal links courses down at deal makes this a must play. Fairways and greens like immaculate carpets. I'm always impressed with the set up here but today was the best I've seen the course (and played well).(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 84 Handicap: 10.9)

Worth the long drive
Great variety of golf using the 3 nine hole courses available. Himalayas recently been improved and provides a nice variation to the traditional links course.Plan to go back next year.

Appalling & discorganised
Just returned from a much anticipated trip to play the Championship Shore/Dunes @ Princes and what a mess & bitter disappointment. Slow fluffy greens that needed a mallet not a caress and worse still, bunkers that hadn't been attended to all winter, some marked with stakes as GUR, others not marked at all but were a mess & completely unplayable. As for the Himalayas, don't go near the place for a year until they get it finished & sorted. I'm writing a lengthy email of complaint to the Secretary, it's a disgrace and I'd tell everyone to keep their money in their pocket & avoid the place for at least the next couple of months till they get the Championship course straightened out.Reviewer Rating

Always in great shape
Usual fantastic welcome and conditioning at Princes. Also the team went out of their way to help us play all day despite the Himalayas being shut for maintenance. Food was good too. Highly recommended all round.(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 83 Handicap: 10.2)

Great 2 day deal
Great value for money, two rounds, evening meal, accommodation and breakfast. We were unlucky with the weather, but despite torrential rain the course was in good condition and the greens ran very true, the Himalayas was still being redeveloped and the new bunkers were no in play, but still a nice round. Staff at the Lodge and the Club were absolutely fantastic, really enjoyable stay, would certainly recommend.(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 44 Handicap: )

Fantastic Links Golf
Second visit, we did their play & stay winter deal over a Sat/Sun, such good value for money and the weather was mostly great. Got sent out about an hour late due to frosty greens, which meant only just finishing before dark, and on the second day we played the Himalayas 9 which is having a serious amount of work done to it at the moment. So much GUR that essentially no shot had consequences, which was a little disappoiting. The lodge was great, as was the bar and breakfast. Would love to go back.Reviewer Rating

Always a delight
Course in spectacular condition for mud January and despite greens being hollowed yesterday. Greens a little slow as expected but hold true lines. Great value inclusive of coffee and bacon roll on arrival. Can't wait to play again. Best links course pound for pound.(Round played: Jan 2018 - Score: 86 Handicap: 11)
