The course is top notch. Some wonderful holes with some amazing views of Ireland, Scotland and The Isle of Mann. A well kept course which I would love to play again.

Our second time of playing this great course. Course conditions and clubhouse facilities every bit as good as the first time. Only downside was a slow foursome that we caught up who did not wave us through.

interesting course

Always an excellent course - played a few times there but havent been back for a few years until last weekend , weather spoiled it a bit rainy at first but relented ..some great holes and views out to the sea excellent ..course in good nick and like I said before some great holes ..one poor hole a small par 3 (99 yds) filler which I hate that maybe colouring my opinion of it but also some great and tricky par 3s so this one is a bit of an outlier

Coastal golf at its very best.

Set above the charming village and harbour of Portpatrick this course(The Dunskey) offers a very sporting test of golf. There?s plenty of length if that's your forte but for the connoisseur the four par 3?s are delightful in that they challenge by being just on the acceptable side of quirky.
All greens are true and with enough well established wrinkles to keep you squinting for the best line. The course is linksy in character but there?s enough fairway grass under your blades to enhance a good swing. Always nice to have the ball sitting up and smiling at you.
Enjoyment is enhanced by the stunning sea views that surround the course. The drive from the 13th tee must be one of the most stunning in golf.

Lovely Links Venue

Great links course - not massively challenging in comparison to others but very enjoyable. Great welcome. Decent food too. Lovely village also.

Great course

Dry hilly testing course. There are a lot of blind shots on this course which spoil it a bit. The views going round are spectacular.

Stunning coastal location, sea visible from everywhere. Nice clubhouse, very friendly pro and bar staff. Chipping and putting areas close by. Fairways and greens very tidy, 8 on the stimp, rough sensible. Well set up for a decent wind.
Could certainly do with a warm up net. Rather short off the yellows, very wide in places. Fairly tough walk.
Overall though, a great spot for holiday golf, reminds me of a mini Royal Porthcawl, well worth the trip to a remote location, deserves it's high rating here.
