What the club says: Donaghadee is situated on the north east coast of County Down, Donaghadee has a lifeboat station and Lighthouse in its scenic harbour. The town boasts unparralled views over the Irish Sea towards the Scottish coast and lies between the neighbouring seaside towns of Bangor and Millisle.

Good course, ruined by members
I have no complaints about the course itself, I was in excellent condition. The issues I had was that members can walk about the course and tee off from any whole they choose from. We had no one infront of us then on the 5th hole there was 2 groups of teenagers ahead of us all of a sudden and slowed us up. The pro shop was closed so we weren't able to get a score card.Reviewer Rating

Bit disappointed if I'm honest with this one. Having driven past in awe for years when I finally got to play maybe my expectations where higher than the clouds! Course was in good condition, not spectacular and a number of the holes were a let down on layout and design - straight up and down. Given the location and outside look I was expecting stunning, and nothing less. Don't get me wrong the course and clubhouse are very good and of high standard, just not as high as I had thought. Course has a few nice holes and a few that almost seem threw in just to make up the numbers. Would I play again? Only on special offer/discounted days.

Played in 40 mph winds and the following day 0 mph winds. Watch the weather closely , make a big difference to the game being so exposed to the sea.
