What the club says: St Medans Golf course is set on a very picturesque and historic promontory just below Monreith bay. It is laid out on coastal land and is a very tricky 9 hole (18 tee) course with plenty of interest.

A warm & friendly reception on a lovely course, with the added novelty of 9 green & 18 Tees.
The views are incomparable

Not the longest course around, but the variety of shots you will need make it a worth while visit. Get club selection wrong and you will find trouble, requiring you to rethink your normal choice of club for the next shot. Don`t dismiss this course since its only nine holes. Never overcrowded except on comp days. When I am up here on holiday will always make a point of visiting for a game. Suggest you do as well

The course is a difficult 9 hole course. Its very hilly and also a bit confusing layout the first few times of playing. It is howerver kept in very good condition. The views around the course are spectacular. Money wise at Under £150 a year its great.

Nice looking course. Only a 9 hole course. But very difficult. Lots of hills, long par 3's and very heavy rough make this a difficult course to play on. Clubhouse is ok but only manned at certain times making a drink after a round a bit tricky. Green fees are fantastic value for money though.
