Don’t bother.
Course overbooked sadly. Queued 12 on a tee, taking 20 minutes a hole and facing the prospect of. 5 1/2 hour round - had to walk off after 9 and they refused to refund us our remaining 9 holes.Poor customer service, poor course management and poor upkeep around fairways and bunkering.
After playing here many times and bringing a Society it’s a shame but we won’t be coming back here again.
Course management would do well to look after golfers better instead of just stacking the tee and raking in the cash. V short term view.

Good layout, enjoyable for all abilities
I have played Pine Ridge a few times but not for a while. This round was during the long dry spell of 2022 and so the course was baked out - fairways were like runways, rock hard and firey, but the greens were kept very lush and green but were still firm. It's a good layout and the real bonus is that balls always seem to be findable. If you play well, you will score well but there is plenty of challenge if you are not. Bunkers were a bit sketchy but otherwise the course condition was good for the weather we have been having. One big gripe however is the pace of play. My two ball took well over 4 hours on a Monday late afternoons. It is a busy golf course with a real range of golfers playing. Something to be aware of.

Drains well
Played course on a wet day when other courses had been closed or carry only. Given this, course was in good condition with just a few puddles and wet patches. Unfortunately the greens had been treated the previous week and so they were not in a good condition being still sandy and bumpy. However, overall, an enjoyable experience despite the rain! Tee rates very expensive for a pay and play but cheaper in the afternoon.(Round played: Mar 2022 - Score: 97 Handicap: 16.5)

Nice course, beautiful greens
Played early Sunday morning, had to make up a foursome, but was good fun. The greens are especially immaculate, billiard table smooth, but not always easy, and generally fast. Course is not difficult, and rough is not too rough, managed to finish with the same ball I started with. Lots of trees to try and go over or round, only one water hazard which I manged to find! Very enjoyable round, love to come back next week(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 104 Handicap: 19.4)

Slipping into autumn
Played on a brilliant bright autumn day. Greens considering time of the year good, a little slow but it is the time of the year.Fairways fine some bare patches.
Always interesting course some really good holes some a bit average.
Pro shop closed when we played. Is this a permanent feature?
Food good golf club standard.

I had heard good things, as I read it was amongst the top 10 public courses in the UK.
Terrific range with top tracer technology, and spacious well-maintained bays.
Very attractive course over undulating woodland, heather, gorse, pine and bramble.
Wide, sweeping fairways - will suit big hitters.
Tee-boxes variable in quality - lots of broken tees, and unprepared divots, and quite uneven in parts.
Fairways variable in quality - large patchy areas of no grass, and a good deal of weeds growing through.
Greens - variable quality. Perennial problem of unprepared pitchforks. Some very fast greens, some quite poor quality, with many bald patches, and bumps & lumps.
Some areas along the edge of the fairways really sandy and scrubby.
Very tidy in the main with the exception of tee litter.
Very undulating, stunning scenery.
Has a feeling of underinvestment and poor attention to detail by green keeping staff - sorry.
Far too expensive at ?45 for a green fee.

Nice course, nice clubhouse
Nice course, very picturesque holes framed by trees. Bit 'bare' in some patches though. Clubhouse provides a nice back-drop for the 9th and 18th holes.Reviewer Rating

Poor fairways and slow play
Paid £22 to play after 3pm today. The fairways were shocking, with barely any grass in some places. Took 2 hrs to play 7 holes. Gaps between tee off times need to be extended. Certainly not worth a full green fee. Give it a miss until maintenance improves.Reviewer Rating

Not at it's best
Thcourse has the potential to be amazing and although the greens were in good condition, the fairways and bunkers need some attention. Appreciate it's been a toiugh season but compared to other courses they were in bad condition.Reviewer Rating
