Christmas Jumper round
Good day golf after all this he rain, greens were slow and fairways a little soggy!Little disappointed! Always enjoyed playing this course but today?

Nice course spoiled by overbooking
Played twice here this week. Course is very nice but the experience is ruined by club's booking policy. 5.5 hour round on Friday waiting on every shot. To add insult to injury they have green-keepers working on the course not turning off their machines around the greens or tees. Municipal course yes but at £29 per round this lack of care for golfers' enjoyment is unacceptable. Our society will not be coming back until we hear better reports.Reviewer Rating

Greens not bad, rest of the course was poor! Bunkers didn't look like they had been weeded or raked for weeks. Very scruffy overall litter everywhere, bins overflowing at 9 am in the morning. Do greenstaff not do bins and bunkers at weekends!! Disappointed with the experience for the weekend rate!!

(Round played: Sep 2016 - Score: 113 Handicap: 28) the greens are excellent fairways needed watering. A really bad point is the pathways between holes exceptionally rough and dangerous in places.

This course is lovely but is let down by the greens. £38 is a bit steep!! Service for food in the clubhouse was poor.

Course busy so slow round made worse by people in front slow and always leaving bags and buggy at front of green and people behind always driving buggy up close

Over crowded. Too many groups, too close together. Course was OK but very inconsistent rough and slow greens.

This is possibly the most attractive and interesting public course I have played in the Hampshire/Surrey areas, however even when playing duringin bad weather in the winter, I could not quite believe how long a round took. We started at 12pm, so not peak time, as a 2 ball. My playing partner left at hole 12 as he got fed up, and I carried on alone. Even though I was on my own and played through a few players, it still took me almost 5 hours for a round. This is a shocker and also a real shame as means I will never choose to play this course again as it was just too slow and I was really quite bored at the end. If they sorted that out, it would be a clear 5 star course, but as it is, I can't rate it more than 3

On arrival, the course seemed to have resisted the recent downpours but heavy showers early in he round made the greens impossible to putt on- in hindsight, the course should have been closed. The back nine was an improvement on the front, although parts of some fairways were boggy and other parts roped off to prevent more damage. Hospitality in the 19th was fair without going over the top.
