Course in good condition. Fairways very hard but weather has been extremely hot. Greens in good condition and true.

Great course
Great course which is being better kept than it used to be. Looks an easier course but the scores never show that! Only gripe is that it is more expensive than other local courses but is still very busy.Reviewer Rating

Excellent golf course the best public course I have ever played beautiful greens fairways bunkers tee boxes all pristine condition we can not wait to play again 5 star in all areas.

What a great track, played it on Sunday 1st May and I was very impressed. I play off 7 and my friend plays off 27 (his just started) and it was fun for both of us. Greens were quick and smooth which is amazing as it looked like a busy day and we didn’t play until the afternoon. I would highly recommend a game

Play every year around April for a birthday round. This year the greens have been the worst I’ve seen. Patchy, hard and sandy. Tee boxes have also much to be desired: uneven, sandy, bald. Such a pity as it was one of my favourite courses in SW.

What a great course, looks like Woburn but without it being to difficult, greens are nice but a couple look like they have suffered through the winter.

Not played here for 2 years, been playing local pay and plays to me and this is in such better condition, they have 2-3 greens that aren’t great but the rest is quality. Plus we got to enjoy a burger and pint while watching the football, if Carlsberg did Sundays :-)

Such a nice course let down by the greens, they are the worst I have seen them ever. They are rock hard, patchy, punched and sandy they need a good watering for a start.

Drains well
Played course on a wet day when other courses had been closed or carry only. Given this, course was in good condition with just a few puddles and wet patches. Unfortunately the greens had been treated the previous week and so they were not in a good condition being still sandy and bumpy. However, overall, an enjoyable experience despite the rain! Tee rates very expensive for a pay and play but cheaper in the afternoon.(Round played: Mar 2022 - Score: 97 Handicap: 16.5)
