Lovely course with beautiful settings, the greens could be better and general condition around greens but apart from that really enjoyed it

The course was good, but the greens did not suit me, as the grass was long and lush. I am used to the fast greens of the Algarve.

be prepared for some hills, a course where ladies gets good distance from men's tees, well kept and good fairways,

After reading some excellent reviews of this course I was excited about visiting. Sadly it did not live up to the hype. There were 6 temporary greens on and almost every hole was on a temporary forward tee. As a result the course is greatly reduced in length, with one hole being reduced from 290 yards to about an 80 yard pitch and putt hole. Holes 1-3 and 14-18 were a bit boring, with holes 4-13 having a bit more character. Managed to get a round without booking for the bargain price of £7.50 but defiantly not worth the £50 a round in summer that their website shows although I'm sure the course would be much nicer to play in summer. Definitely a course that looks better on Google Earth than from ground level.

Lovely course in mature setting with a wide variety of holes including varying terrain and two tee shots over water; the 13th being the signature hole.
Course in great condition but two gripes.
Firslty, the speed of the practice greens bore no resemblence to the playing greens which were really fast.
Secondly, got held up by some very slow golfers which seems to be a regular occurance here; my one ball became a two, became a three as we were held up.

fairways a bit patchy. course well used. Tees and greens not bad for the time of year. Too many playing and no sign of a marshall.
