Sunday driver
32 golfers on two round Sunday driverCourse and greens in awful condition.
The hot spell can not be blamed for the overall unkempt condition

Disappointing. Course seemed shabby. the rough around bunkers around some of the greens was poor. Overall badly maintained

waiting on tees, too many people on course. walked off on 16th. as took 4 and half hours to then.

The actual course is nice, testing, a little tight in places and scenic. The staff were great too. However, I played on a Sunday and a Monday - the Sunday was an absolute joke - 2 hours 50 mins for 9 holes and I walked off on the 14th after 4.5 hours. There were no marshalls, no starter etc. The course was crammed with four balls and they had obviously gotten as many people as possible on to the course. People said it was the same on Saturday too. I would play mid-week but never never never never never on a weekend.

Played on 31/10/15.
Tee Boxes were shocking, uneven and hacked up, and fairly long cut for a tee box.
Fairways were ok
Greens were massively incosistent.
£15 on a Saturday morning, cheap but id rather pay more to play a better course.
Bar afterwards, 4 pints and 4 packets of crisps came to £24.90; guess they have to make money back somewhere??

Not sure how this course achieves such high reviews. I played this course most weeks throughout the summer of 2014 and was never impressed. Always found the greens slow. Fairways poorly cut and the rough not maintained at all. The course layout is good and with a bit of looking after and dare I say it better greens staff this course could be very good. (Handicap 5.0)

One of my favourite courses I get to play. The layout of the course is excellent. Really challenging with a number a long par 4s.
I feel the course needs a bit of TLC in general as the tee boxes were quite poor.
I will be back again for sure.

Good value for money
Overall the golf at Patshull is good value for money. There were 4 temp holes in play but this was no problem, but a lot of mud on the fairways and paths. Greens were in good condition. Food and drink good quality but a bit expensive (hotel prices). In winter, always ask if winter wheels are in operation as they don't automatically tell you when you book.Reviewer Rating

Park Course with Wildlife!
The course is in good condition at the moment very lush and green. Personally found the greens quite slow taking a bit of time to get used to them.Unfortunately we were a two ball immediately after a few groups of members playing a medal. I would not have minded so much if everyone had arrived at the tee on time to play, but when you hear a member say, it's usually 20 minutes late when the starter isn't here, that is not good. I was also shocked to see 6 members at the tee who them proceeded to go as a 2 ball and then 4 ball. This did not help the pace of play. If visiting the resort for a game, I strongly recommend you check with the pro shop if there members are playing and get out beforehand, or ask to be teamed up with another two-ball so you are not waiting at every shot.
