Potentially nice course in need of some TLC!
Only the second time we've played here with the first time being pre-Covid.The course is a nice lay-out but lacks a little finesse which could promote it from decent to good.
The bunkers were generally in pretty poor condition with both little definition and not enough sand.
The tee-boxes needed tidying up, with quite a few of the white/yellow teeing markers missing and no plaques for yardages and hole layout maps on any of them.
The course in general was hard, especially for the time of year and the greens were in need of some water, as they were unreceptive, with approach shots having to be landed well short to stand any chance of them finishing on the greens.
The only real positive was the green fee, which at £18 was reasonable and just about value for money. However, we agreed we'd rather them spend a bit of money getting it up to snuff and start charging say £25.

Nice just lacking some love
Stayed overnight at the hotel for a round the next day. Hotel was nice and some great golf displays, food and room where excellent. There did seem to be a lack of staff and and the hotel needed a little bit of work. Then onto the golf, we had an early tee time of 8:30 and no one about to discuss but they had a screen up with the tee times and we where on there so all good. I liked the course thought it was interesting and a challenge, the course was flat but made you think about your shores, but I did think the greens where quite poor, and felt a bit underwhelming, which was a shame as I did like the course. Overall it was a nice course but let down a little with the greensReviewer Rating

Very busy
Course was very busy on the Saturday we visited so queues had formed at the first tee and we were waiting at all 18 holes so the round took much longer than usual. Many of the fairways run very close to others so not great if you're not a very experienced golfer. Some bunkers were just about playable and some were unkept with compacted sand and/or full of weeds and should have been GUR.Reviewer Rating

GG
Played this course in March and mid October greens and fairways in very good condition. I’m 5 hc and found plenty of chances for birdies but enough trouble to have double bogeys if you made mistakes all in all a fair challenge of golf.Overall great value and extremely friendly pro shop with great club house.

Fantastic underrated course
This course is pretty underrated as far as consideration as a great course goes.the co editions are excellent at the minute and the layout is friendly but also poses some challenges ges, especially on the back 9. Great course, would highly recommend for the price.Reviewer Rating

Excellent and soon to improve
Beautifully maintained course with very challenging tee shots off the whites. Can\'t understand bad reviews particularly about the long rough as both black and red tees should provide bad golfers with easy opportunity for low scores. The long fescue is expertly shaped and gives the course character. We saw alot of people trying to smash drivers on tee shots that require clever iron play. We spoke to the new Spanish head greenkeeper who informed us that newly constructed greens were built to incorrect specifications and that alot of work was needed before he could open them which is why there are a few temporary greens and that some bunkers were in dier need of renevation so some are gur. Can\'t wait to return next summer when the ongoing work is completed.Reviewer Rating

Disappointing
Went with a mate that had been a couple years before and said it was a nice track. We both left very disappointed, and almost without playing. Guy in the pro-shop told us it was £36 each (web-site says £18) but then quickly added "I'll do 2 for 1 for you". Had we payed £36 each this would have been a far more harsh review!Bare patches on greens, I'm no greenkeeper but it was just bare soil so I doubt its any kind of disease. Loads of stones in bunkers, along with plenty of grass. Rough was just ridiculously long.
Not sure about the yardage on the card either, one par 3 stated 162 yards. At 6ft tall, I counted roughly 115 paces, and I reached with a wedge and a slight hand from the breeze.
I know they have had some problems with intruders on motorbikes and the like, but the course really didn't warrant £18 green fee. Won't be going again for sure.

Course has deteriorated badly in last few years and needs a lot of work to get it back to standard when it hosted a couple of tour events.
Inconsistent greens, poor drainage, ignorant ground staff, damage to a number of tee areas due to cutting too short with large cutter instead of lawn mower
