Played on a Friday, a society day. We were a 2 ball, (no offer to make it into 4), jammed in the middle of a 4 man field, and it was simply horible, and I fekt robbed of the 38 quid we each payed to play.

Quit after 9.

Apart from the pace of play, there is a general lack of signage, everywhere. There are no signs to the pro-shop/showers/range/anything.

The course is badly laid out, and u are in danger of being hit, from other tee-boxes.

Its a fairly short course, with good greeens .. but

I wont be coming back ..

Getting tired now. Bunkers never in play during the winter. Lots of grass free patches especially around the greens. Bad patches of Badger scrapings which are never repaired. In fact I cannot remember when I last saw any repairs on the actual course.

Like most courses this time of year the course has suffered from winter weather, however the bunkers are and have been unplayable for a very long time poor quality sand with stones spoil an otherwise above average quality golf course.

The course is in good condition, the greens are especially good, the rough is very unforgiving and could do with cutting to a level where you can find your ball but still costing you shots to get out, and the bunkers need some work as not a lot of sand in some

A busy day

There was a lot of people around today and the pace of play was slow. We did nottee off on time about 20 mins late. But i had anothergood round. The greens were good and did not have to make to many trips to the long grass

Bunkers need a bit of work

The course is in good condition, but the bunkers need some work as water does not drain away. Do not go too much of line as the you will be punished if you get into the long stuff as it is long, that is if you find it. Greens were in good condition

It did not rain

The course was in reasonable condition but the bunkers were like lakes . The greens were good, you could go for the pin and it stopped

Great condition

This course is always in great condition, especially the greens, they are superb.
There are some great risk & reward holes, 5, 16 & 17. Equally there are enough other good holes to test all levels of golfer. The rough isn't too punishing if you're a bit off line, but gets more difficult the wider you go.
The hotel is basic, but the bar area & food are OK.

Good

It's a good course on a stay & play deal. We'll laid out with a great risk & reward 5th hole & 16,17 & 18 a really nice finish.
I've seen it in better condition, but it is early in the year. One improvement is the bunkers, nice sand.

Nice course wide fairways good condition

A pretty open course but a few tight holes, I like the short 128 yard par 3 4th over water it's pretty tricky , the green slopes towards the water so too much back spin and your balls wet ,over hit it and your OB par here is a good score.and the short 268yrd par 4 5th is reachable with a fairway wood or 3 iron but you have to be straight as a left shot is wet and right will be either OB or leave you with a horrible 2nd shot..always a decent amount of sand in bunkers too..

Good Course

I stay & play here regularly. The hotel rooms are a bit basic, but the rest of the resort is excellent.
The course is always in great condition, you don't get penalised unless you really deserve it, the greens are always good, just the bunkers are letting it down a bit this year.
It nearly always get's in Today's Golfer's top 10 courses in Northamptonshire & I can understand why.
