Bunkers well placed but in bad condition - rock solid and like playing off rock

Great course on coast. Amazing how 18 holes are fitted in to the area - doesn't feel squashed at all. Managed to have a discount rate so was good value and great location for a night out.

Lovely little links course right in the heart of this tourist town. Just turned up with no tee time and was warmly welcomed. Some nice holes along the beach front.

A real tough test - blowing a gale up here most days, but when we played the rough wasn't too challenging so it's more forgiving than the previous review suggests. Didn't see anyone wearing jeans, although as it was bucketing it down that's hardly a surprise.
If you're in Newquay, this place is perfect - the setting above the beach impressed everyone I played with.

A very open links course, which makes it difficult in windy conditions. And as it sits just above Fistral Beach, it's always windy!!
The rough is brutal, so imperative you don't go into it, as you will lose your ball. A fair but tough test of golf, especially if you've not played it before.
Disappointed to see so many people in the club house wearing jeans. This after I was warned of their strict dress code. Bet the jeans wearers were locals.
