Leave your driver in the bag for most of the holes on Lynedoch and take an oxygen mask for some of the climbs. Some very accurate plotting required on cross-hill fairways. Course is well-maintained and, the ridiculous downhill 15th aside, in good condition.

Lyndoch
Loveley setting with great views. Clubhouse although we didn't use it on our visits appears excellent and welcoming.
Course well kept in lower parts but upper holes have been squeezed in to too small a space. A couple of totally blind par 3's for you to guess your club and where the pin is. A par 5 too with the narrowest of fairways that is really a bit of a joke. 15th has tee perched high with a stunning view and fairway and green a long way below. Would be a good course if they revamped holes 11 to 16 (barring the 15th)

Hilly tough course with lots of tree's and a most difficult 17th. Heavy under ground and a stiff breeze when played which added to the difficulty. all in all a good chalange.

A very good course, just be aware to expect a a lot of steep climbs, shots to hidden greens. Great scenery also. Let down was the lack of yardage posts or markers.

Considering all the rain we have had in the early part of the year, the course is in first class condition. Well done to the green keepers

Played Murrayshall at the end of March, still using winter tee's but summer greens. Everything bar the tee's were in great condition. Course felt longer than it actually is. Some strange holes, 17th being one of them where the green is blocked by large tree's if you go down the fairway meaning you are penalised for a good shot with one of my playing partners hitting a horrendous slice but having a clear shot to the green. I'll play again as it was a good day but definitely not one of my favourite courses.

Okay the course has suffered with heavy rain fall over the last three weeks but overall was in very good condition. My only gripe with (Lynedoch)the course was the lack of signs to guide you round the course! They were there but in the wrong places most of the time. It became tiresome looking around for the correct path to take to some of the tees. So if any improvement can be made its more signs please.
