The golf course was in very good condition but very hilly. If you were going to play this course then I would use the golf carts on hire. If you didn't then your in for a very hard walk.

A very good course, just be aware to expect a a lot of steep climbs, shots to hidden greens. Great scenery also. Let down was the lack of yardage posts or markers.

Played Murrayshall at the end of March, still using winter tee's but summer greens. Everything bar the tee's were in great condition. Course felt longer than it actually is. Some strange holes, 17th being one of them where the green is blocked by large tree's if you go down the fairway meaning you are penalised for a good shot with one of my playing partners hitting a horrendous slice but having a clear shot to the green. I'll play again as it was a good day but definitely not one of my favourite courses.

A very picturesque golf course, challenging tight fairways with small margins of error. The 15th is a driveable par 4 a magnificent hole teed up very high in the woodland, none of our group of 7 reached the green but all gave it a good go, great fun.

Cracking course , interesting holes. Punishing rough though could be doing with trimming back

Disappointing

Neither course is that exciting, and the stroke index on the bigger course seems very odd - short par 3 with a low SI, to be followed by a long hole with a high SI.
