Short but Tough

Narrow, undulating fairways and well protected sloping greens make this a tougher course to play for the high handicapper. The course though generally is fun, and is set in spectacular surroundings. Well worth a go, but be prepared for a climb to the top of the hill before the spectacular finale. Course was immaculate barring some scruffy tees on the back 9

Member at the club for the past 2 years. Taken over by new owners in November 2016 who have invested heavily and can be seen throughout the facilities and course. Still work to be done in the driving range and could do with a more accessible practice area. Course is always well maintained, greens are quick and the course is well marked throughout. Staff in the office are excellent and the coaching offered is top class. Option of 2 courses means that it is never too busy. Plenty buggies available for hire as the Lyndoch can be a difficult walk for those who are not quite as mobile.

Fantastic golf course in beautiful surroundings, well worth a visit especially when using a Bunkered voucher. Some great holes to play and it certainly makes you plan out your round depending on where your ball lands.

A good course although if memory serves me right I think the sister course(Lyndoch) is better.

Absolutely fantastic golf course - we played the Murrayshall Course, rather than the Lynedoch which also looks good. Really friendly pro-shop, cracking condition of course, challenging without being ridiculous (apart from the 9th hole which is called Devil's Elbow and is a bit daunting!) and fairways really good to play off. Greens were tricky to get to grips with but put that down to the rainy weather they'd had in the week preceding our round. Look forward to coming back again soon!

Played the Lynedoch Course at the start of August. Very tidy little course with a couple of very unusual holes which require some thought. Fairways are a decent size but the rough areas are tree lined, thick ferns and water so it really does pay to be straight off the tee.
Beautiful scenery and very good facilities with a genuinely warm welcome. Really enjoyed it, would play again along with the the Championship course

(Round played: Apr 2015 - Score: 117 Handicap: 28) Beautiful course in superb condition! Some tough holes which can wreck your card and a beautiful finishing par 3. Enjoyed my two rounds here.
