Nice council run course

fantastic course
I have always enjoyed this course. It is generally in a good condition with some testing holes. The greens were very good as were the fairways. We always have a breakfast before playing which is excellent .(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 88 Handicap: 12.3)

Nice parkland course
Had a great day. The course was in good condition and the greens were true. The recent warm weather has been beneficial.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 98 Handicap: 19.1)

Well worth a visit again. Looks like major renovation works taken shape, greens as good as ever.
Still a tale of two halves front more length and therefore demanding but back nine still makes you think about your shots.

When Tee Off time looks the same Moors Valley comes to the rescue
Moors Valley as a pay and play course is excellent, you can usually find a tee time to suit your needs and although the fairways are sometimes scratchy the greens are excellent, overall its still a good challenging day of golf.(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 82 Handicap: 16.8)

Great course, great value.
Lovely course in a beautiful setting. Course is not too long or too hard, but certainly provides enough challenge. Lots of interesting holes. Fairways well maintained and rough was not too punishing. Greens were playing brilliantly, especially considering that it is winter and they have been closed recently.Very happy to see that this course is open. And good value (?10 for an under 25 round!) Decent food and good beer.

Great to see it open again
It was such a shame to hear Moors Valley had closed, but great to see it is open again, lovely setting for a golf course and although Council run it's in great condition, the greens are a good as any club and although the Fairways (same as most clubs this summer) could look better it's still a worthwhile experience, long may it continue I will definitely play again and again.(Round played: Dec 2018 - Score: 89 Handicap: 18.6)

The course played amazingly well considering how much it rained the day before, and only£10 green fee what's not to like.
