Nice varied course but in poor condition, all rough extremely long, and greens rock hard, so any chipping goes straight off. Has been in better condition

No driving range to practice just nets. QUite noisy in places as it's next to the steam train track for kids.
Course in good condition with nice green.

Well worth a visit again. Looks like major renovation works taken shape, greens as good as ever.

Fairways and greens good condition and nice variety, however bunkers were very bag, thin very gravelly sand, compact, hard. Very hard to play from

nice course.. open fairways, played on a steam engine day, toots going off all over the place, then the stock car racing started up, so quite a noisy course on a Sunday

Shame the clubhouse and changing rooms were closed and they didn't tell us when we booked! I had to change afterwards in the public toilets near by - thankfully they were still open!!

Moors Valley is a great family venue and nice to have a golf course so close to me like Crane Valley. Moors however also needs a bit more attention to the bunkers and greens. Winter tees and greens as it is succeptable to frost and a bit of flooding. It's an ok course some field type holes not challenging for lower handicaps (everything is a challenge for me however). Only downside is facilities are currently poor. They are however fixing this renovations underway.

The course was in good condition but the greens were super-fast ( not bad for the 2nd week of Oct ) The only problem i have with moors valley is the par 4/5 holes, if you played off the whites its a par 5 but if your off the yellows you're only 20 30 yards further forward and it becomes a 460 yard par 4 !!! and there are 3 of them and only 1 real par 5.
