Nice little course. **PLEASE IGNOR THE BELOW REVIEWS**Lovely little place, quite a short course in general but tight fairways and smallish green really have you thinking your way around.
The greens are some of the best and true I have seen for a while and it was a real nice treat to see grass on the fairways especially after the 3 weeks of sun we have had.
Approach shot at 17 is a quality finish (just a par 3 at 18).
For £23 i'd 100% go back.

This course played very well in the windy conditions. The greens were quite fast with many undulations. The Pro shop is small but adequate with a very good clubhouse.

Good value but fairways narrow
A nice clubhouse, food, drink and shop ... excellent value for a midweek round of golf. The course was in a good condition, however we found the fairways very narrow and when off the fairway you found yourself in clover, which hide the ball very well, so plenty of lost balls in our group, despite OK tee shots.Reviewer Rating

Interesting terrain
This is a short course 5700 yards on the yellows but is arranged across interesting terrain. The first five holes are straight forward on level ground, then the sixth par five of 552 yards is over a hill to a closely guarded green in a valley with a row of trees and a pond. The seventh goes back up the hill on a dog leg right with green guarded with hedgerow and tree. The eighth is a short 313yard par 4 but with a big pond to clear right in front of the green.The 14th is a difficult par five dog leg left across a steep side slope where balls run to the bottom of the slope from a blind tee shot. The green is guarded with a stream in front. The 15th green has a pond in front. Then the closing 3 holes are straightforward on the level.

Great condition course all year round.

Very friendly good course
Albeit we played the course when very windy so much so the return back to Kent took at least 4 times what it should (bridge shut)Course was challenging for out level of play

Friendly course
I think this is a really good course for anyone that has recently taken up the game.It's quite open from the tee meaning you can be fairly wayward from the tee and still not lose many balls. The layout is fun and the generally all round condition is also great.
I was really impressed with the greens in particular as they rolled so well which is always the one thing that lets a lot of courses down.

VFM gem in Essex
Don't remember playing this course before but it is a little gem in Essex not far from central London it was in good condition and it was very much a value for money course.(Round played: May 2021 - Score: 94 Handicap: 13)
