Nice course with mix of forgiving and challenging holes. Friendly staff in clubhouse. Good venue for societies.

Could do better
Had Monday deal inc breakfast. Breakfast was not very Good. We won't bother doing this deal again because of that. Course as usual was good. New sand in traps. Fairways and green good.Reviewer Rating

Interesting terrain
This is a short course 5700 yards on the yellows but is arranged across interesting terrain. The first five holes are straight forward on level ground, then the sixth par five of 552 yards is over a hill to a closely guarded green in a valley with a row of trees and a pond. The seventh goes back up the hill on a dog leg right with green guarded with hedgerow and tree. The eighth is a short 313yard par 4 but with a big pond to clear right in front of the green.The 14th is a difficult par five dog leg left across a steep side slope where balls run to the bottom of the slope from a blind tee shot. The green is guarded with a stream in front. The 15th green has a pond in front. Then the closing 3 holes are straightforward on the level.

Very friendly good course
Albeit we played the course when very windy so much so the return back to Kent took at least 4 times what it should (bridge shut)Course was challenging for out level of play
