Lovely clubhouse, nice service and slight wiff of chaviness about some of the clientele. Despite this the Heritage Course served us well and considering the recent bout of heavy snow in these parts and subsequent downfall the condition was pretty good albeit a bit soft underfoot in parts which meant lots of potential plugged lies. The course is a bit soulless to be honest with a small number of interesting holes. I was lucky enough to play with a friend who gets a free membership through work and so it only cost me £55 as a guest, but I don't think I'd be happy paying c.£100 to play it though. There are far better options around for the cost.

Great course and with friendly staff and welcome. Lots of elevation changes with great vistas across the course and long walks between tees. Very challenging with large green complexes. Very enjoyable overall and not too long for all levels to play. Greens were coming out the back of some maintenance but were still in very good condition considering. Would recommend if in the London area

Enjoyable Layout
International CourseReally enjoyed the layout, after the 1st took a little while to get going for me but soon picked up around the turn and the back 9 was really fun.
Fairly wide fairways and big greens which is great for corporate days etc and keeps people moving around the course.
Fair amount of water to get round, but it mostly plays in front of you with some superb elevation changes. It is a bit of a walk with some hills in places so if you have some mobility issues Id suggest a buggy.
Course is really well kept from tee to green and saw lots of drains which would suggest its playable all year round too.
Thumbs up from me.

Very very difficult course
An absolute belter of a course, greens were fabulous and conditions were excellent. However, the rough was absolutely brutal and the bunkers had so much sand in them, they were almost unplayable as ball almost disappeared when it went in. Far too tough for me, and I play off 19(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 102 Handicap: 18.4)

great course ... not easy !
In excellent condition and was not busy so went round at a very good pace, ....greens very quick ! and lost a lot of shots by over chipping and putting, but great test of your golf(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 99 Handicap: 21.2)
