Absolutely stunning golf course for the time of year and well worth the money.

Super golf course even in occasional heavy rain would definitely play again. Every hole has a different challenge and the greens are true. Crossing the road the first time was very difficult as it was very busy with fast moving traffic but coming in was fine as there was a tunnel under the road. You can have something to eat in the Ryder Cup Bar without changing out of your golfing gear. Bit disappointing for us when we came late afternoon as they were only doing sandwiches.

This course is absolutely stunning the greens are like glass and its best to try to land before the greens because although the greens are big if you hit the green chances are you will roll off it. Some stunning Par 4's and Par 5's. The clubhouse is still for the elite, you can only wear shirt tie and jacket in there, but the course is simply brilliant. Not cheap though, but it's worth it.

Tough course with great history and superb greens. Let down by the presence of the busy road and a general lack of attention to detail eh there are practice bunkers but they have no sand in them.

Ryder cup course 1957, Course played well but sugest if you play it ensure you are not on the 12th at peak traffic times as you have to cross the A57 which you take your life in your hands cars coming at 70mph

Played in a corporate event and have to say it was a fantastic experience.
We were made very welcome, the course was in great condition especially the greens. The meal afterwards was top quality.

This is a must play for £30. Even in the winter the course is in fantastic nick. I dont agree with the review which says the holes across the road are 'mickey mouse' either, these holes are still better than a lot of holes on other courses. There isn't anywhere within an hour (at least) which can touch this place. The greens had been spiked but were still true, not a bobble in sight and even after all the snow it was dry, 2 patches of water on the whole course. This is a 10/10.

If you're lucky enough to play here grab it. Unfortunately there are a few holes the other side of the road to main bit which are a bit mickey mouse for me personally. The rest is immaculate with a lot attention to the course being carefully looked after by the ground staff. Greens excellent. Lets get it straight though it is an ex Ryder Cup Course so perhaps built my expectations up too much.

Have played this course many times when visiting my relatives up in Lincoln, the friendliness of the locals is really great, mind you they all are a bit wary of us southerners, but once you have played a round or two with them they become
very affable. Will be going up there again sometime in July,so will meet some good friends and have a fe laughs and drinks withh them all.
