Great condition

Rufford Park GC
Lovely shortish course but still need to plot your way around the 18 holes...Some very interesting scenery around the course. The clubhouse is very welcoming and reasonable prices for drinks.

Great condition during heatwave
Played the course last week during this long hot dry spell. The greens were absolutely excellent and held the ball very well in contrast to other courses played recently. This course really has come on over the years. As we all know great in autumn and winter but noe during summer the courses was in really good condition and well kept the greens were well watered and their green colour set them aside from the surrounding baked ground like an inviting oasis. Well done to all concerned.

Fabulous course, a must for any Golfer

college pines summer
The course is in excellent condition but the fairways are tight with long rough encroaching on most holes. The fairways are lively and running due to dry weather. The greens are generally good and fast. Some of the bunkers lack sufficien sand otherwise in good shape if quite testing.

Lovely course and great package
Always a great day out here and packages include range balls, putting competitions and really good food. Course lay out is interesting and challenging with some tight fairways, tricky par 3's and unforgiving rough and trees. Catch the course in good weather and its a great day out.

Incredible!!
Amazing course with picturesque surroundings and fantastic drainage. Great proshop and friendly pro (very helpful) course played fantastically considering the rain we’ve had recently. Would recommend to anyone.

Great winter course
As usual we found the course fully open, with no temps, and in good nick considering the time of year. It was pretty busy but that's to be expected as it's a winter golfing Mecca for a large surrounding area.(Round played: Feb 2018 - Score: 100 Handicap: 20.6)

GS
College Pines is a testing course with some challenging holes. The surroundings are beautiful. Tree lined with lots of wild -life, particularly bird-life.The greens were slick.
I have played the course many times and in summer it is a good course whereas it is a superb winter course as it sits on sand.
