What the club says: On approaching Leigh Golf Club, you could be forgiven for thinking that you were returning from a game drive when actually you are only 10 minutes from the M6 and M62 motorways. Leigh Golf Club is in a perfect setting and is ideal for a round of golf with your friends, Society Outing, Corporate Days Golf, Workshop or Conference Seminar.
Leigh Golf Club has been established over 100 years and is situated in beautiful surroundings located in the heart of the Cheshire countryside.

Fabulous
Excellent evening played with a member , 2 Hours 45m to complete the round, relatively short course but you have to play straight or you will lose a shot under the many mature trees. Greens quick even after the recent rain and first time going into the old clubhouse, only stayed for a quick drink but barman was very friendlyReviewer Rating

Short but tough
Although on paper a short course it is well defended by tree lined fairways and green side bunkers. Greens in excellent condition. Course was very dry so the ball ran forever. Accuracy off the tee is the key to a good score. Great challenging course.Reviewer Rating

Good course but not at it's best
Second time playing Leigh GC, friendly welcome in clubhouse and proshop. Was playing in an open event and was disappointed that there was no breakfast available. Practice area putting green etc quite away from first tee. Course overall was in decent nick, a bit wet and soft in a few areas, not a good winter course me thinks. Greens ran true if a little woolly. Some tricky holes especially off white tees need to plot your way around a bit. Flat course so easy walk round.(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 82 Handicap: 6.2)

Fantastic test of golf management no easy holes which makes it a real test. And the greens are some of the best ive played on.

Brilliant Golf Course
Brilliant golf course. The approach to every green is a challenge, with strategically placed bunkers for every hole. The greens were immaculate and fast paced too. The fairways were in great condition and most are tree lined demanding straight shots from the tee. There are two practice greens one of which has a practice bunker too, these are located at the rear of the clubhouse. The facilities in the clubhouse include two bars and a snack area with outside seating.Reviewer Rating

Tight Course
Very tight course, lot of trees, Greens in very good condition. Overall nice course and I would recommend, fair test for all Golfers.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 100 Handicap: 28.1)

First visit to Leigh GC playing in an open competition. Friendly welcome all round nice clubhouse, decent breakfast. Ok practice facilities, putting area well away from first tee though. Course fairly flat, tree lined. Some quirky holes needing a bit of thought which I like. Greens true and fairly quick. Would return for sure

Great hidden course, a must play.

Lovely hot day course was in great condition, plenty of bunkers on this track.
The back nine is more difficult but is slightly shorter. Straight driving is essential on this course.

Had the pleasure of playing this course recently. The course is a old well established club with a magnificent club house and facilities. The course is tight with tree lined fairways and many doglegs. The greens are well defended by numerous and deep bunkers. A real challenge but very worthwhile.

Played oct 2016 - short is course but don't be fooled very tricky got to get in position off tee. Greens very fast and tricky. If go round without a 3 putt well done. Course is great & Food in clubhouse very good.
