This course has undergone some significant changes to layout and quality of upkeep. The facilities are very modern, superbly maintained and the practice facilities are excellent.
On the day we played it the greens had been recently re-turfed which meant they were not in the best playing conditions, but we understand that maintenance work is necessary to achieve the standards we all expect at decent tracks.
I love this course as it has everything; long par 4's, tricky par 3's, water hazards, tons of well placed bunkers and the tee boxes are top notch too.
The pro shop is well stocked and the staff are very helpful. If I lived closer I would definitely become a member here.
When they open the new holes and layout in Spring 2013 it will be amazing!!

Everything is pristine & new - car park, clubhouse, restaurant and bar. The Pro shop is well stocked but best of all is all the gear is priced to sell, not like the typical over priced pro shops you go to. Very friendly and welcoming.
There are 2 courses - the Par 3 Oaks which is a little gem - we played the front half as a warm up then had sandwiches and headed out to the Wike course. The course is not intimidating but can challenge all abilities with a number of bunkers and water features. Some visually stunning holes. Quality of tees, fairways and greens were first class. Recommended for golfers of all abilities - a great day out. Definitely will be returning. Big thanks to Lloyd who was really helpful - cheers mate.

Fantastic course!

I've played over 100 courses and this one really surprised me as I was not expecting much but it was FANTASTIC. Lots of really interesting and challenging but FUN holes, fast undulating greens...with lots of water and bunkers to navigate.
Only feedback would be signs are needed in a lot of places to find the next tee pls!

Good set up, nice food, worth a trip !

We had a society day here with 18 lads involved, bacons and drinks all delivered on time at 7.30am before 6 holes on the par 3 course which was good fun. Main course was good, some very nice holes and some pretty long par 4's with water hazards, but everyone really liked it. Great halfway house and good buggy paths. We had food afterwards which was also very timely, had the worlds biggest pie lid with chips and veg and some steak, all pretty good. Only very small downside was that we were following two guys in a buggy who were not only taking ages, but really werent up to the challenges of the course. The roaming marshall could have talked to them about letting people through as we waited in groups on the tees behind them. But overall, the course itself and the service, absolutely fine and will probably come again in the future.

What a very pleasant surprise!

Wow - first time at this course - what an absolute pearler it is! David Leadbetter uses this place as his Britrish Academy base - and it's not really surprising to see why. If you haven't played here - give it a go!

Without doubt one of the best courses I've played on in a long time. Everything about the course spelled 'quality.' Greens and tee-boxes were beautifully manicured, fairways were very well crafted and nicely looked after despite the weird weather so far this year. Bunkers were in great places to catch wayward hits, and there was sand in them too! Bonus! The greens were responsive and the ball held as you pitched into them - they then putted at a manageable pace but true to the crafting of them also

Enjoyed it so much I went back the following weekend for another crack it it! And played very similarly! Haha!

Played in early Sept with 19 golfers. The first couple of holes need a few years to mature but after that the course is excellent with some fairly tough and interesting holes. It was in fantastic condition and their was plenty of staff out working on it. Good clubhouse too.

Always an enjoyable walk round. Played many times before and each visit shows why we keep going back. That said, on this occasion the greens had been treated which did cause a few issues with some bobbly putts. Also the introduction of 'foot golf' at this venue has created some noise on the holes close to the par 3 course.
