I've played this course many times its starting to get expensive though for just 9 holes - paid £15 today I can play Cookridge for £22 so its no longer the value course it was.

Highly enjoyable & challenging course
The Village is a shortish, undulating 9 hole (or 12 including the three bonus optional ones) course - only two holes go over 300 yards - but what it lacks in distance, it makes up for in sheer character. Plenty of blind tee shots, tricky greens and several opportunities for the brave or foolish to go for glory. Great fun!Reviewer Rating

Lovely Course
A very nice 9 hole course some challenging holes very picturesque.The greens were the only let down on a few holes (1st and 3rd ) very spongy but overall a very enjoyable round.(Round played: Sep 2020 - Score: 85 Handicap: 23.6)

Nice 9 hole course but the greens have been a bit bobbly and slow but all in all a nice little course for the price.

Proper job

A set of short but interesting holes that make up a relatively fun half-round for those like me trying to get back into the game. The course is pretty well looked after and the greens are pretty slick but not the best of quality. The main issues are the bunkers (which are not well sanded) and the lack of any form of yardage chart/markers to show distances to greens etc which can be an issue as at least 6 of the holes have greens that are not visible from the tees. Also I think that some of the yardages on the chart are a bit iffy. With a little bit of care and attention this could be a great little pay and play.
